

Royal Opera House Muscat hosted the closin ceremony of the Ishraqat Ahd Art Forum under the patronage of Her Excellency Dr. Laila bint Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development, and in the presence of His Excellency Basil bin Ahmed Al Rawas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth, alongside distinguished officials, artists, and members of Oman’s cultural community.
The forum brought together approximately 200 artists from across the Sultanate of Oman. Following a rigorous selection and jury process, only 64 artworks were selected for exhibition in the final showcase, reflecting the forum’s highly competitive and distinguished artistic standards
.Among the selected works was Shatha Al Hsani’s portrait, recognized for its research-driven artistic approach and conceptual depth. Extending beyond traditional portraiture, the work explores themes of identity, symbolism, and cultural memory. Its presentation at the Royal Opera House Muscat marked a significant milestone in Al Hsani’s artistic career, affirming her growing contribution to the evolving landscape of contemporary Omani art.
The closing ceremony brought together artists, cultural leaders, and distinguished guests in a celebration of artistic excellence, providing a platform for dialogue between Omani heritage and contemporary visual practice. Within this context, Al Hsani’s work reflected her ongoing commitment to combining technical mastery with conceptual inquiry, reinforcing a practice grounded in research, craftsmanship, and a contemporary interpretation of Omani identity.
